THE ISSUES

Taxes

As a small business owner who’s run my shop over 30 years and now a hay farmer as well. I know firsthand how crushing taxes can be on folks just trying to make ends meet. I’ve felt that squeeze every time property taxes go up or business taxes bite into my bottom line. That’s why I’m running for Commissioner. To fight for real tax relief that puts money back where it belongs, with you and your family. I’m not a career politician with fancy promises, I’m one of you. As your next Commissioner I’ll demand smart cuts to wasteful spending and bloated bureaucracy, so we can finally lower property taxes, and ease the burden on families, farmers, and small businesses.

Communication

When county commission feels distant, it creates distrust. My approach will be straightforward. Meetings and decisions should be transparent so no one feels shut out. We’ll build trust by listening first, explaining clearly, and working together on what matters most to Bulloch County families, farmers and business owners. Government should serve the people, not keep them guessing what they’ll do next.

Growth

I’ll work for smarter, controlled growth, prioritizing infrastructure upgrades first and by insisting developers play by our rules so we don’t overload our roads and services. Listen to residents and farmers about preserving farmland and community character. We can grow in a way that keeps Bulloch County affordable, safe and true to its roots. Folks are feeling the impact in their daily lives, more traffic, higher costs and losing that quiet rural feel that makes this place special. We can’t keep saying yes to every project without considering the long-term effects on the people that live here.
